With just over a week to go before we return for our 3rd year at the event, I just wanted to highlight what you get as a family.
Everything is within eyesight, stages, food vendors, sellers, games, the bar and toilets. Being a parent of 4 and having taken my children to Download (and lost 1 a couple of times) I cannot stress enough how great the layout is.
With both parents and children alike being able to enjoy the event with camping available starting 10 meters from the arena entrance and the car park a further 15 meters from the campsite, it is the best.

Throw in the fact that the organisers and staff encourage the young to attend and always have time for everyone, and in this day and age is an amazing feat.
Vendors for drinks, food and other purchases are always well-stocked and are happy for you to browse before purchasing. With a daughter who has an eye for bargains, this is always much appreciated,

Games are also available if you fancy and even an onsite tattoo artist is available if you so desire. I would expect to see like-minded children enjoying playing games together and finding new friendship groups (which is always great).
Everyone is always chilled, and the stages come with a great sound system which pumps out the music around the arena. If you have young children a set of ear defenders can be brought if you have concerns about volume. (we do – Amazon has many). Also, bring a chair and an umbrella (just in case)
As for the music – a great mix of genres is available across 2 outside stages (side by side) and 1 in a spacious indoor tent. Poster below.

We have seen some before and have had great fun listening to Spotify to gain insight into others (see below).

And the price – for the weekend it’s £115.00 face value for 15+, £45 face value for 10-15 years of age and under 10’s are FREE.

I have been told that if you receive the newsletter from Lincoln’s Drill there may be some further savings!

We are not affiliated with Call of the Wild (although we do feel like family) – but the above is our open and honest opinion having attended as a family over the last 2 years.
We look forward to seeing you there – come say hello – Matthew is continuing his journey with concert photography, my other children will be appearing during the weekend too (reviews to follow) and I will be living my best life listening to music I love whilst sampling some drinks and making new friends and catching up with old ones!
